In the role of General Contractor representative, I oversaw the preconstruction process to align the site upgrade, pavilion construction, and museum renovation with the project’s budget and design vision. My responsibilities included reviewing architectural and engineering plans, developing cost estimates for each component, and coordinating closely with architects and engineers to identify cost-saving solutions without compromising quality. I created a preliminary construction schedule, strategized for permits and approvals, and conducted a constructability review to anticipate challenges. By maintaining open communication with the museum and design team, I ensured all project goals and budget requirements were consistently met.
